What a busy 1st week of school…

As earlier captured, the day before school started on Sept 1st, we reported on making Northwest Conference 1team from ECNL GIRLS ANNOUNCES 2020-21 ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS. Then school kicked off for the senior year of High School. Then a new set of posts went out from the school, the club, and even the local sports news journal.

And finally I found this one:

SVSJ preview: CHS girls’ soccer graduated a ton of seniors following COVID season, but could be just as dangerous this fall with a younger group…..

There are eight girls back this fall, led by a pair of seniors: Natalie McCabe and Madelyn “Mad Dog” Davidson. Davidson comes in as a three-time postseason league award recipient, both on and off the field, and this week was named as one of the top players at the club level in the country, as a ECNL All-Conference 1st team player (she plays club soccer for Preston-based Eastside FC). “Mad Dog is an athletic and dangerous player and lethal around the opposition goal. She has a very strong soccer IQ and leads by example. She is reliable, consistent and will out-work any player on the field – huge motor,” Hickox tells us by email. “You will be following this player as she transitions to college soccer,” he adds, and we would look for that to be at the Division I NCAA level.
