Post Game interview and Players of the Week

Yesterday I received a message from a local writer of the SnoValley Sports Journal that he found a YouTube video of the post game interviews and thought I would share them here with you.

Post-game Interviews:

Postgame interviews with Coach Caleb Roberts, Micaela the Goalie, and Madelyn

Then I noticed a post from Sun Conference for the players of the week:

And the Snoqualmie Valey Sports Journal posted something about it too:

College conference recognition for the “Mad Dog”: A fantastic Saturday for one Carnation product earned her recognition from her college’s conference yesterday.

Southeastern University of Florida women’s soccer player Madelyn “Mad Dog” Davidson was named the NAIA Sun Conference’s women’s soccer offensive player of the week on the strength of her two-goal effort this past Saturday for Southeastern’s Fire; those two goals were the lone goals of the contest as the Fire beat nationally-ranked Keiser University 2-0 in an upset at home in Florida. Davidson, a sophomore, is a 2022 Cedarcrest HS grad, and the recognition we believe is the first she has had at the college level for her efforts on the field. Good stuff and we know her friends and family are thrilled with the news.

Southeastern hosts another Florida rival, St. Thomas University, tomorrow evening at home in Lakeland, which is between Tampa and Orlando along Interstate 4 and should be familiar to baseball fans as the spring training home for the Detroit Tigers. Game time here in the Valley is at 4:00 p.m.
