Knowing the season is getting closer…

With just under a week before college soccer kicks back in for pre-season, I went to check out what the Fire Women’s Soccer site had to share. I found this note in the Bio section:

JUNIOR (2024): Davidson shined for the Fire in her junior season. She played in 15 out of 18 games this season and started in 14. She notched a team high nine goals and three assists, finishing the season with five multipoint performances. She notched four goals for the Fire in one week that featured 2-1 wins over New College of Florida and RV St. Thomas earning for herself Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Her goal against Florida Memorial on Senior Day, awarded the Fire with home field advantage for the Sun Conference Quarterfinals. Her excellence on the pitch earned her Second-Team All-Sun Conference, and a her play in the conference tournament earned her a spot on the Sun Conference All-Tournament Team. She was also outstanding academically, earning Sun Conference All-Academic, CSC Academic All-District, and NAIA Daktronic Scholar-Athlete.SOPHOMORE (2023): Davidson started all 19 games. Her strong offensive endeavors resulted in 11 goals with one assist. Eight multipoint games were fueled by three two-goal games, in two of those games her goals were the difference in a 2-0 win over Keiser and a 3-1 win over Ave Maria. 27 shots on goal were a product of 46 shots taken. This all resulted in First-Team All-Sun Conference honors. She was also successful academically with CSC Academic All-District, All-Sun Academic, and Daktronics Scholar-Athlete awards.FRESHMAN (2022): Played in 17 games with four starts….Had two goals and two assists...Scored first career goal against Campbelllsville on 9/17...Added a goal against Florida Memorial on 10/6….Had two assists against St. Thomas on 10/8.HIGH SCHOOL: Was first team All-Wesco, ECNL Northwest Conference First Team, and team MVP in 2021. Wesco Academic state champion in 2018.PERSONAL: Daughter of Mickey and Phil. Favorite athlete is Russell Wilson. Loves to hangout with friends and eat frozen yogurt. The updated notes on her JUNIOR season were pretty cool and figured I would capture for future reference.
