Cedarcrest girls rally to beat Shorewood: A balanced effort led by 10-point performances from Kat Townley and Holly Williams helped Cedarcrest’s girls bounce back from early trouble to beat Shorewood at home in Duvall 49-36 last night. “We had a bit of a slow start, but had a great second half,” CHS coach Brad Knowles tells us. “Our shooting was better tonight, especially from three-point land.” The Red Wolves hit seven of those on the contest, fueling their solid performance. Madelyn Davidson and Bella Rose both had nine points pacing CHS. They are home this afternoon taking on Sedro-Woolley. Tip is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. depending on if the Red Wolves test clear, as they will get their first tests under the new protocols this morning.
